The rules of Twitter are pretty simple: Keep your messages short and sweet, tweet regularly, and don’t just tweet about yourself. Below are 100 software companies (including app makers and SaaS providers) that are doing Twitter right.
These companies are clearly audience-aware, and they have not inflated their followers stats by following thousands of accounts. As a result, they have many followers who actually engage via replies and RTs.
Many of the names on this list will come as no surprise. Microsoft has a few entrants. Younger companies such as Snapchat are social media natives from the boss down, so they are naturally adept at Twitter.
Other big names in software failed to make the cut for a variety of reasons: Maybe they tweet way too much or their tweets are almost all self-promotion.
You can learn a lot about using Twitter the right way by watching what the best companies do. What follows is 100 companies, leading by example.

CEO at Epic Presence
In January of 2014, I launched Epic Presence, a content marketing agency focused on SaaS and HR Technology.
Since then my team and I have published over 2,500 long-form articles for SaaS and HR Technology companies all over the world and engaged with over 20K influencers to promote this content.
I’d be happy to chat with you about anything and everything we have learned along that journey. Please don’t hesitate to reach out!
